Fireworks - Alex

 

 

 

Unlike Stephanie Alex didn't find the fireworks relaxing. Too loud. Way too loud. We stood long enough to have some hot chocolate and then left. She wasn't particulary scared - just didn't like the noise. By the time we had worked our way through the crowd, bought some flashing rabbit ears and got out to the main road the fireworks were over. Alex liked the pink fireworks and the Tinkerbell (green and gold sparkly) fireworks best.

We went to see the fireworks on Guy Fawke's night. Stephanie found them very, very relaxing and slept through the whole thing.

Alex wore a flower in her hair to show to her Granny. Stephanie, for a change, did not eat the sand.

Just when you think the cape and ruffle skirt is a very Alex look she has to push the boundaries by adding binoculars the wrong way round.

 

A Crown

 

There is a book about Sleeping Beauty getting a crown on her 17th birthday. Alex couldn't wait that long so we made one ourselves. Sleeping Beauty is her favourite princess.
