Stephanie does a bit of painting. She is more messy than Alex but does have the advantage that she is prepared to use all the colours and not just pink and purple.

Instead of getting Alex to do household chores to earn pocket money we send her out to work on a trawler.

Fireworks - Alex

 

 

 

Unlike Stephanie Alex didn't find the fireworks relaxing. Too loud. Way too loud. We stood long enough to have some hot chocolate and then left. She wasn't particulary scared - just didn't like the noise. By the time we had worked our way through the crowd, bought some flashing rabbit ears and got out to the main road the fireworks were over. Alex liked the pink fireworks and the Tinkerbell (green and gold sparkly) fireworks best.

We went to see the fireworks on Guy Fawke's night. Stephanie found them very, very relaxing and slept through the whole thing.
